The couple sold their 777-hectare property known as Hazeldean in Limerick last month after listing it in September last year through agents Col Medway and Tim Corcoran of LAWD.
According to realestate.com.au, the Fergusons purchased the working farm in 2014 for $1.95 million and completely renovated the historic 1880s brick homestead during their ownership.
The property is located 234 kilometres from Sydney and has been under long-term contract management.
The single-level homestead features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and multiple living areas, with a verandah that overlooks landscaped gardens.
The Paddington-based couple maintained the property as a functioning livestock operation throughout their ownership.
Hazeldean boasts significant agricultural capabilities with an operational scale of 7650 Dry Sheep Equivalents and a history of carrying 3000 merino ewes and 150 cows.
The property includes extensive water resources with 1.3 kilometres of double frontage to Phils River, 2.7 kilometres of single frontage to Berrells Creek, and 25 dams.

The estate comprises predominantly open grazing land, with 97 per cent of the 777 hectares dedicated to this purpose and the remaining 19 hectares being timbered grazing land.
The working farm is equipped with a six-stand woolshed, sheep and cattle yards, and machinery sheds.

Ferguson, who was born in Parkes, became an active member of the local community during his ownership of the property, securing sponsorship from Channel 7 for the local rugby team, the Crookwell Dogs.
The veteran newsreader has been a familiar face on Australian television for decades, joining Channel 7 in 2009 after more than 17 years with rival network Channel 9.

He has been the weeknight news presenter for Channel 7 since 2014, when he replaced Chris Bath.
