Australian actress Claire Holt and her real estate executive husband Andrew Joblon have listed the Beverly Hills home they purchased from actor Will Arnett almost two years ago.
The couple purchased the property for US$7.85 million and have now listed it for US$10.25 million, having made several customisations, The Dirt reports.
Holt is best known for her roles in The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
Arnett, best known for roles in BoJack Horseman and Arrested Development, knocked down the original home when he purchased the property for US$2.85 million in 2013 and worked with architect Suchi Reddy and design and development firm Living Homes to create a partly prefabricated residential space, inspired by architect Ray Kappe’s work.
The resulting design, featuring interlocking wood-and-glass cubic volumes, was showcased on the cover of Dwell magazine.
The six-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home is situated on three-quarters of an acre.
The property features tranquil sunset views over surrounding treetops.
Recent updates include the removal of a floating wall between the living room and eat-in kitchen, new countertops in the kitchen, bespoke stone and white oak built-ins in the living area, and an overhaul of the sunset-view bathroom in the primary suite.
Additionally, a gym was added, a room was converted to a home theater, and Arnett’s former office and podcast/recording studio were transformed into a deluxe guest suite with a kitchenette.
The property includes a secluded courtyard garden complete with a freestanding sauna, a built-in cold plunge, and an outdoor shower, as well as an outdoor fireplace and dining terrace above an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa.
Steven Schaefer and Jay Luchs of Newmark Residential have the listing.
