New office locations don’t come much better than Moonee Beach which lies in the centre of Coffs Harbour’s northern beaches, on the north coast of New South Wales.
New Principals Darcien Kean and Michael Hall are both long-time locals and excited to have celebrated the official opening of their C21 office.
Mr Kean has over 10 years’ experience in the real estate industry, starting in holiday and permanent rentals as a property investment manager, then moving into sales where his property and investment knowledge is applied to better service his clients.
“Having lived in numerous suburbs along the Coffs Coast, I love promoting what the area has to offer; from its abundance of beaches, to its ever-evolving townships, and lush green landscapes,” Mr Kean said.
“This passion comes out when I talk to buyers and sellers and is what makes them come back to me for their ongoing real estate needs.”
Fellow principal Mr Hall settled on the Coffs Coast in 2001 after residing in Melbourne.
Having been indirectly involved in real estate since 2003, he became a licensee in a new agency in 2012 where hospitality and real estate were blended into a unique offering for landlords and vendors.
“It was the right time to merge my boutique realty with the largest real estate brands in the world and set the business up for greater growth,” Mr Hall said of his new venture with Century 21 Coffs Coast.
Seeing how quickly the real estate industry was changing and the significant role played by technology, Mr Kean and Mr Hall knew that to be able to offer clients the best outcome they needed to be at the forefront of this technological advancement.
“We were aware of the limitations of our offering as an independent office and decided that joining Century 21 would provide us with technology we needed to produce superior service to our clients,” Mr Kean said.
“The fact that they had also undergone a major rebrand was another major factor in choosing C21”.
The team will provide residential sales, rentals, property management and holiday rentals to the local area including Korora, Sapphire Beach, Moonee Beach, Bucca, Emerald Beach, and Sandy Beach.
Whether assisting buyers and sellers in the local market, or property owners looking to maximise their returns, the team look at all scenarios when marketing their properties.
Lead sales agent and auctioneer Peter Darby will leverage his 30 years’ experience to also spearhead the project sales services, particularly in the sale of large residential subdivisions.
Century 21 CEO Warren McCarthy spoke highly of the newest members of the C21 family.

Community involvement is a very important way for the team to stay connected with locals and give back to the area they love so much.
Mr Hall is heavily involved in Coffs Harbour’s tourism, being on the board, whilst also being the vice president of the AFL Masters North Coast.
Mr Kean has had a long-running involvement with Coffs Harbour Basketball, and in 2017 trekked Kokoda as part of an initiative with the Black Dog Institute to raise awareness for mental health in outback and regional communities, helping to raise close to $10,000.
