FLK IT OVER is a digital platform which allows tenants to sign leases via their smartphone, aiming to save property managers and agencies hours for paperwork.
Agent send tenants a link to their tenancy agreement via SMS before the platform takes the tenant step by step through the details and conditions of the lease, requiring tenant approval at each step.
Sales and property management agreements giving consent to a real estate agent to sell or manage your home can also be signed on FLK IT OVER.
The technology was developed by Bright Residential founder Andrew Colagiuri, who saw a gap in the market for a modern way to sign leases and sales agreements.
“I realised the way real estate agents do business hasn’t fundamentally changed for 100 years and with over a third of Australians now renting the demand is there for this technology,” said Mr Colagiuri.
“The outdated process from approval to signing a lease takes around a week and can be particularly complicated for properties where there’s more than one tenant, or the prospective tenant is relocating inter-state or overseas.”
Signing a residential tenancy agreement via FLK IT OVER takes under 10 minutes and stands to save agents and property managers up to eight hours per week.
“This is not about disruption to the real estate industry – this is simply innovation, using technology to improve the way we do business,” said Mr Colagiuri.
Real estate agent Matt Hayson from Cobden & Hayson manages over 3000 properties and has embraced the new technology, convinced it will make property management more efficient.
“The future is quite literally here, saving us time, money and critically improving our client relationships,”
