DiJones is set to introduce a new advisory board to propel the business forward.
The announcement:
Cementing its agenda for growth, DiJones will implement an advisory board as the formal leadership structure of the business, in a move that further strengthens its status as the largest independently owned real estate company in New South Wales.
Rob Ward will be stepping aside from his current role as joint CEO and will lead the advisory board as chair. Dean Mackie will continue as DiJones CEO, in a sole capacity, from 1 May, 2021.
“We thrive on an environment of continuous improvement for the benefit of our customers and the decision to create an advisory board provides DiJones with a formal structure for innovation and growth enabling a strong platform for leadership,” Mr Mackie said.
“Innovation and agility is key to the success of the DiJones brand and an advisory board will act to cascade the vision throughout the organisation.”
Having been at the helm of DiJones since 2016, Rob Ward in collaboration with Dean Mackie has overseen the agency grow from one office to 14 offices across Sydney, the Southern Highlands and most recently the Central Coast in a joint venture company owned structure.
“I am extremely proud of the DiJones brand and excited for the future of the company. After 20 years in the industry, I am looking forward to using my experience to help provide strategic direction for the DiJones business. The role of Chair will also allow me to continue as a shareholder and to expand my breadth of business interests” Mr Ward said.
“As CEO Dean moves into the full operational function for the agency, and as chair I will work closely with Dean, and Brent May who has been elevated to the role of Head of Revenue, as well an experienced leadership team.
“We also plan to appoint both internal and external experts to join the advisory board to help guide us through this incredible period of growth,” Mr Ward said.
The advisory board will initially form with Rob Ward, Dean Mackie, Brent May, Pamela Styling and Les Hercules Kalas as the primary appointments, with further appointments to follow in coming months.
