Domain Magazine will start publishing its print magazines this month.
Production and distribution restrictions, coupled with a ban on live auctions, forced Domain to suspend print publishing at the end of March.
Domain Magazine will restart publishing on Friday, July 31 in the Australian Financial Review, and the following day in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald.
Sydney Domain magazine boasts a monthly readership of 1.078 million while Melbourne has 976,000 readers.
In addition, the portfolio of Domain Review free property and lifestyle weekly magazines in Melbourne will resume publication on August 5, encompassing Stonnington and Boroondara, Bayside, Moonee Valley, Melbourne Times and Ivanhoe and Valley.
Domain Review magazines are delivered to more than 235,000 addresses.
Domain Prestige, in the Australian Financial Review weekly, will resume publication in the spring.
“The return of Domain magazines is a result of increased confidence in the Australian property market,” Domain Group Director, Commercial, Tony Blamey, said.
The return to print makes sense from a marketing point of view. Combining digital and print spend in a campaign achieves stronger result than digital alone.
“Victorian properties advertised in both Domain magazines and digital attracted 10 times more views and generated more than five times the inquiries than those on digital alone.
“For NSW properties that is six times more views and four times more enquiries,” Mr Blamey notes.
“The return of our magazines as we head into spring is an ideal time for vendors to attract property seekers and agents to increase their profile and build their personal brand.
“The Domain Magazine in Sydney and Melbourne also offers the opportunity to attract out of area buyers for some of the city’s best properties.”
