Renowned Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast agency Elders Lifestyle Group, continues to expand its footprint on the Northern NSW Coast after acquiring a stake in existing office, Elders Grafton, and the upcoming purchase of another agency that will be announced on March 1.
The Grafton acquisition comes off the back of the recent addition in late 2022 of two agencies in Yamba/ Illuka and brings the total number of agencies Elders Lifestyle Group has purchased to five in just over five years.
Led by Chief Executive Officer David Gray, the investment into these locations cements a bold strategy to grow market share in these expanding regions.
The Elders Lifestyle Group team now totals 150 of sales, admin, property management, holidays, commercial and marketing staff across 15 locations.
With the recent acquisitions, the group will have 4850 properties on its rent roll and a goal of 850 sales transactions in 2023.
The process of merging a new business into the Lifestyle Group isn’t without its challenge but Mr Gray has a proven formula.
“I have one of the best leadership teams in the business,” he states.
“From systems to marketing to culture, the team assisted by Elders head office complete changeover and set up to ensure we merge with no interruption to business activity.
“Elders Lifestyle Group is laser focussed on customer experience and with our shared database and interconnected network, the offering we provide clients is unique,” he said.
Looking ahead, Mr Gray is buoyant about the continued popularity of the regions his offices service.
“The Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers regions have seen extraordinary growth in migration numbers and values,” he said.
“In key locations like Port Macquarie, Yamba and Grafton values are up more than 40 per cent in the last two years.”
The Elders Lifestyle Group has an ethos to give back to the communities where they live and work.
“We support our local community with more than $100,000 annually such as SelfSeen, Yamba Bowling Club, Surf Lifesaving Tacking Point & Bonny Hills, Luminosity and many more,” Mr Gray said.
While running an agency of this size is accolade enough, it doesn’t stop there for Mr Gray.
He also owns and operates local business Camp Jordan in Port Macquarie, The Med Motel in Crescent Head, and a successful development business to name but a few.
“Elders Real Estate are the number one agency brand in number of sales from Newcastle right up to the QLD border, across a group of very successful and long standing Elders Real Estate business owners,” Elders General Manager Real Estate and Brand Belinda Connor said.
“Dave is a significant driver of this success through the relentless pursuit of innovation across his team and investment into recruiting and training the best people.”
