Fairfax’s ‘Daily Liberal’ Dubbo Site for Sale at Auction

A central and commercial complex in Dubbo, the headquarters of Fairfax Media’s Daily Liberal newspaper, is being offered for sale via auction by Ray White Commercial NSW and Ray White Dubbo.

The approximately 2,185 sqm building at 216 Macquarie Street and 1 Bank Street, Dubbo, is being marketed by Samuel Hadgelias and Jeff Moxham of Ray White Commercial NSW and Ray White Dubbo Director Richard Tegart.

Mr Hadgelias said the complex currently occupied by the Daily Liberal is being offered for sale with vacant possession on behalf of Fairfax Media.

“This commercial site on a land area of approximately 5,020 sqm offers a two storey office space with full amenities and a large warehouse/factory with heavy vehicle access”, he said.

“There is dual rear access to the site and a full bitumen car park with parking for approximately 50 vehicles.”

Mr Tegart said the site is just 50m to the Dubbo Square retail complex which includes a number of national retailers including a Coles supermarket and Target.

Mr Moxham said the offering is zoned B3 Commercial Core and has future development potential, subject to council approval.

“Dubbo is a thriving and dynamic regional city in central west NSW and home to more than 40,000 people with a retail catchment of over 200,000,” he said.

The Daily Liberal building will be auctioned at 10.30am (AEST) on Tuesday, July 26, at Auctionworks, Mezzanine Level, 50 Margaret Street, Sydney.
