Angela Steven has returned to Ray White, opening a new office in Stones Corner, an rapidly developing area, attracting families, couples and singles, and investors.
The Announcement:
A powerhouse professional of the Brisbane real estate landscape has taken the next step in her career, partnering with Australia’s leading real estate group.
Angela Steven, who has cemented her reputation as one of the leading agents in the industry for over 20 years, is thrilled to be opening and operating Ray White Stones Corner in the city’s inner south-east.
No stranger to the Ray White Group, Ms Steven started her real estate career at the tender age of 17 and has worked in a number of roles including Business Development Executive at Ray White Queensland Corporate. Most recently, she ran a thriving agency in West End for almost 10 years.
“From the moment I started working at Ray White corporate, I witnessed first hand the incredible support and mentorship offered by the group to its franchisees,” Ms Steven said.
“I knew that a franchise with Ray White was my next step, and jumped at the opportunity when it was presented to me – I belong in yellow!”
“Having run an independent agency since 2012, there are a myriad of benefits in partnering with the industry’s most recognised and reputable organisation – long-term proven results, cutting-edge technology systems, expert training, and sophisticated marketing strategies are only some. Being backed by the best in the industry will also benefit clients and my team members,” Ms Steven said.
Ms Steven and her team will service the up and coming Stones Corner precinct and its surrounding suburbs, an area that is rapidly transforming and developing year after year, attracting families, couples and singles, and investors.
“I liken Stones Corner to West End when I first opened my agency there – a diverse, vibrant urban village with a strong historic background due for rapid growth,” she said.
“One of the most rewarding aspects about my career is having the opportunity to contribute to the transformation and growth of a community, whilst nurturing and incorporating its heritage.
Stones Corner is home to a curated mix of award-winning restaurants, cafes and bars, boutique shopping, wellness services, and trendy specialty stores run by local artisans, and now forms part of the Brisbane South State Secondary College.
“Within three kilometres to the CBD and positioned in between Woolloongabba and Greenslopes, the landscape of Stones Corner is rapidly evolving,” she said.
Ms Steven said that there is a lot of development opportunity in and around Stones Corner, with the area strongly supported by the Council’s Norman Creek 2012-2031 Master Plan, and earmarked for exponential growth.
The overwhelming key strength of the new business will be the customer-centric approach that Ms Steven and her team takes.
“Over 90 per cent of my business in the past has come from client referrals and word of mouth,” Ms Steven said.
“I am grateful for all my clients, and am genuinely interested in helping them achieve their goals. Some of my clients started with me as tenants, and I have proudly watched them become buyers and sellers,” she said.
Ms Steven will spend her time building, nurturing and inspiring a tight-knit and like-minded high-energy team, whilst establishing herself in the community, and building a strong sales division and rent roll from the ground up.
“I’ve spent months carefully selecting the right team to look after the Stones Corner community, and can’t wait to introduce them in 2022.
“My main role is to mentor, inspire, and lead a fantastic team of individuals who are driven and genuinely want the best results for this community,” she said.
Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew warmly welcomed the team into their new office.
“We are incredibly excited that Angela is coming home to our group,” Mr Andrew said.
“She is extremely experienced, is a market leader and we know that we will achieve great things together for the Stones Corner community and beyond.”
“We look forward to watching this fantastic operator, as she continues to provide the highest level of service to her customers.” Mr Andrew concluded.
