Luxury fashion executive turned Broadway and film producer Mark Lee is officially looking to offload his Manhattan penthouse for US$5.75 million.
According to The Dirt, the former chief executive officer of Barneys and Gucci purchased the penthouse in 2018, in a US$4 million off-market deal.
The unique two-level penthouse is made up of two smaller structures that together comprise 120sq m of space.
The larger structure contains a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with an open-plan living area that features high ceilings, reclaimed timber floorboards, a white brick fireplace, a concealed TV and windows seats that look out across the city skyline.
There’s also a large island in the dining area and thick marble countertops in the kitchen. The dining space can also double as a library.
In the main bedroom, there are matching built-in nightstands and a walk-in closet, while the single bathroom can also be used as a powder room.
Outside on the terrace, there’s a dining area that is surrounded by lush green foliage that is also the location of the on-room cabin that acts as a guest room and office space.
The upper-level terrace also includes an outdoor television perfect for al fresco movie nights, as well as boasting sweeping city views across Manhattan.
