Former Socceroo and footballing superstar Richard Garcia has joined The Agency Group in Western Australia.
Having played for clubs across the globe such as West Ham United, Colchester United, Hull City, Melbourne Heart, Sydney FC and Minnesota United FC, Garcia has established a presence in a number of top competitions, including the English Premier League, FIFA World Cup, FA Cup and A-League.
The decision to join The Agency in Perth follows a stint as head coach of the Perth Glory, as well as time
spent as an assistant coach for Australia’s U23 team.
With such a storied career, Garcia possesses deep local, national and international connections which, combined with his excellent people skills, is sure to see the former footballer kick a number of big real estate goals.
“I have always had a keen interest in property, so it is a dream come true to be able to partner with The Agency Group, which are one of the biggest players in Western Australia and nation-wide,” Garcia said of his decision to trade the boots for an auction hammer.
“I am at the stage of my career where I wanted to present myself with a new challenge: to bring the professionalism and desire to be the very best into a brand new field.
“It is going to be a real challenge but one I am looking forward to.
“I grew up in Perth, which was a really special time. There is nowhere better to live and that is what drew me back here after all those years abroad during my playing career.”
With parents hailing from Uruguay, Garcia is fluent in both English and Spanish, further enhancing his already strong sales potential.
