Fredrick Eklund, renowned for his role in the popular TV series Million Dollar Listing, has listed his Beverly Hills estate for sale at $11 million, a significant increase from its price just two years ago.
Eklund, alongside his husband, artist Derek Kaplan, had previously declared this residence their “forever home” in a 2021 feature with Architectural Digest.
The property, constructed in 2017, underwent a comprehensive transformation under the couple’s ownership.
This revamp was executed in collaboration with acclaimed New York interior designer Paris Forino.
Nicknamed the “Colour House,” the home is known for its unique palette, embracing various shades of pink and blush, according to the Robb Report.
Situated in the Coldwater Canyon neighbourhood, it spans over a third-acre and features a wood-sided structure.
Boasting seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, the house encompasses more than 520sq m of living space across two floors.
The estate’s exterior includes a gated driveway leading to a spacious motorcourt, a single-car garage, and a front porch veiled in ivy.
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a double-height foyer with an eye-catching Apparatus cloud chandelier.
The interior also includes a sitting room with a copper and black marble fireplace, and a dining room highlighted by a unique necklace chandelier.
The great room, an open space connecting to the backyard through glass walls, features a kitchen with a bespoke L’Atelier Paris range and a family room with an integrated LED-lighted bookcase.
Additional amenities include a screening room, gym, cold plunge, infrared sauna, and an office with ribbed glass doors.
The master suite is a retreat in itself, with Phillip Jeffries wallpaper, a fireside sitting area, a private balcony, and a luxurious bathroom.
The outdoor area complements the lavish interior with mature olive trees, a lap pool, spa, and spaces perfect for outdoor entertaining.
Eklund, who has recently moved to Miami to expand his real estate business, also owns a stylish Connecticut home purchased in 2016.
