George Karasalidis heads to Ray White

George Karasalidis is bringing his team across to Ray White as the leading agent looks to continue to grow in Earlwood and Wolli Creek.

The Announcement:

George Karasalidis and his leading local Earlwood and Wolli Creek team have joined Australasia’s largest real estate group.

Mr Karasalidis said his father Paul Karasalidis built their agency from the ground up 10 years ago.

Joining them as associate directors are Ray White alumni and father-son duo Peter Vasil and Dean Vasil.

George said that the move to partner with Ray White was a strategic business decision to solidify their footprint in the vibrant Inner West suburbs of Sydney.

The team aims to integrate seamlessly with the wider Ray White group while retaining existing agents, ensuring continuity and enhancing service offerings in the region.

“We are so proud to have achieved substantial growth, boasting a commanding market share exceeding 50 per cent in Wolli Creek and managing close to 1000 properties,” Mr Karasalidis said.

“Our recent expansion into Earlwood and partnership with the Vasils is a further indicator of our ambitions.

“I grew up in Earlwood, and expanding into this area has been a long-standing ambition.

“Our journey from a modest team to now employing 18 dedicated professionals underscores our commitment to excellence and growth.”

A pivotal moment came with the decision to join forces with Ray White Earlwood, acquiring strategic rent rolls and merging family-oriented business cultures.

“Partnering with Ray White was a natural choice,” Mr Karasalidis said.

“Their renowned systems, extensive market reach, and shared community values align perfectly with our vision for expansion.”

“Dad has actually worked for Ray White when he was up and coming in his career, so for us it feels like a return home.

“It is truly one family business working with another.”

The move marks a continuation of a family legacy in real estate, with George having bought out his father’s stake in 2021.

This generational continuity combined with Ray White’s corporate support promises to propel Ray White Earlwood | Wolli Creek into a new phase of growth and service excellence.

“We want to become an office of attraction; aligning ourselves with other young dynamic principals which the network in New South Wales is filled with,” he said.

Both Wolli Creek and Earlwood offer distinct market dynamics – Wolli Creek, a burgeoning hub for urban living with proximity to transportation and amenities, contrasts with Earlwood’s suburban charm and appeal to families seeking established communities and quality living.

“Wolli Creek is a high density and very new suburb, and is known for its incredible train connectivity to the city. It is the gateway to the St George region,”  Mr Karasalidis said.

“Earlwood is more suburban, older walk up buildings and lovely larger homes, it is the gateway to the inner west.

“We are strategically positioned in such fantastic areas, working with a hugely diverse population.

“A lot of the inner west residents are moving towards Earlwood, where they can get a bit more for their money and still have that coveted lifestyle.”

Mr Karasalidis said that he envisions becoming a hub of attraction, fostering dynamic growth and superior client service.

“Our synergy with Ray White will amplify our capabilities to navigate and lead in these diverse markets,” he said.

“We are not looking back; every step we are taking is firmly forward.”

Ray White New South Wales CEO Tim Snell said that he was proud to welcome a dynamic new team in to service an important region.

“The Karasalidis’ strategic move to join Ray White, emphasises their growth trajectory and commitment to enhancing community and service standards in Sydney’s Inner West,” Mr Snell said.

“We are always looking for passionate, dynamic young leaders to foster the next generation of outstanding real estate professionals.”
