New South Wales and Victorian agencies have had their fair share of struggles courtesy of recent lockdown restrictions, but that hasn’t stopped three new offices from opening.
Ray White, Knight Frank and First National have appointed key agents and opened new offices throughout Victoria and New South Wales.
Victoria
Diamond Valley real estate experts Jeremy Cleaver and Peter Don have partnered with Ray White to bring a new office to Eltham, Melbourne.
The business partners have worked together since 2007 but before real estate, Mr Cleaver came from a hospitality background while Mr Don began in the psychology field. Both men found real estate by chance after friends and family suggested they try it out.
With a combined real estate experience of two decades, the two have never looked back.
Mr Cleaver said the business duo had always respected Ray White and felt the area was missing a market-leading agency.
“Partnering with such a well-known and respected brand such as Ray White, we feel we will deliver an even higher level of service to the many valued past and present clients that we have had the privilege of working with,” Mr Cleaver said.
The pair are also passionate about helping and getting involved with the local community in which they both work and live.
Mr Don, whose wife’s family are long term residents of Eltham, said it was important to them that they integrated into the community after moving from Moonee Valley, also in Victoria.
“Our children go to the local primary schools, we go to the local restaurants, cafes and parks. Just having young children means you appreciate what’s available and we always strive to communicate this to our clients,” Mr Don said.
New South Wales
Knight Frank has announced new leadership for its South Sydney office as the emerging market continues to see interest and activity despite current restrictions.
Demi Carigliano and Anthony Pirrottina have been promoted to Joint Heads of the South Sydney office, being elevated from their current roles as Associate Director of Investment Sales.
The pair will replace Nick Sinclair, Knight Frank Associate Director of Leasing, who was filling in the role temporarily following Mark Silva’s move to Western Sydney last year.
The dynamic duo – who are also cousins – have worked closely together after joining Knight Frank Australia as analysts in the Capital Markets just weeks apart in 2014.
Mr Carigliano has been working in the South Sydney market for the past seven years, while Mr Pirrottina started his agency career in North Sydney before turning his focus to Sydney’s south and inner-west market a few years later.
Meanwhile, an office in the regional New South Wales town of Casino has elected to step away from a traditional franchise model, instead relaunching with First National.
With nearly 50 years of experience between them, First National Real Estate Casino co-principals, Mark Formiggan and Kel Gunther are looking forward to carrying the brand to new heights, after a more than 30-year presence in Casino.
They plan to deliver new marketing technologies that will ‘shake up the real estate playbook locally’.
‘The traditional real estate playbook has changed,” Mr Formaggin said.
“Demographics have shifted and we want to offer homeowners and landlords new ways of reaching buyers and tenants with active intent, reducing costs for our clients, delivering more exposure, and being more client-centric in the process.”
