Harcourts expands in NSW with two new offices

Harcourts Australia has announced the expansion of the 400-plus office real estate network, with the opening of two franchises in Batmans Bay and Cabramatta, New South Wales.

Harcourts Batemans Bay is owned by Dene Lewthwaite and Adam Sadil , who together have over 50 years’ experience in real estate and specialise in residential sales and multi-unit developments.

“After long discussions and multiple meetings with different brands, we decided Harcourts was the brand for us. It has the family feel, great branding and professionalism to suit our needs,” Mr Sadil said.

After selling his first home at the tender age of 16, back in 1979, Mr Sadil enjoyed over 30 years of a successful real estate career in the ACT and was in the top five per cent of selling agents in the territory.

He was a principal of the highly successful SADIL Quinlan properties. In 2015 he moved to the South Coast and was the principal of One Agency Eurobodalla before joining Harcourts this year.

“Real estate is about looking after people,” Mr Sadil said.

His countless referrals are a testament to his rule of always being truthful and transparent, which he says is reflected in the Harcourts’ core value of ‘doing the right thing’.

Mr Lewthwaite also started his real estate career in Canberra, 19 years ago, and made a name selling established homes, new homes and multi-unit developments.

He has sold millions of dollars’ worth of properties for Canberran families and some of Canberra’s most prestigious builders. During his 14 years with Luton Properties, he had many record price sales in Canberra suburbs and as one of Luton Properties’ top 10 agents he demonstrated a commitment to ensuring the best possible outcome for his clients.

After relocating to Batemans Bay in 2011, Mr Lewthwaite has since sold millions of dollars’ worth of properties in and around the Bay, has many very satisfied clients, and the coast now feels like home.

For Nathan Duong, the extension of his six-year real estate career in the Cabramatta area was a natural fit with the Harcourts brand.

“I strive to always put people first, which aligns well to the Harcourts value of ‘People First’ – my favourite of the four values,” Mr Duong said.

He went on to note that Cabramatta has an outstanding Asian culture and is home to many vibrant restaurants and cafes.

The opening of the two new offices comes on the heels of Harcourts The Property People Campbelltown’s move into larger space. The team is led by Garth Makowski, Harcourts Australia’s Top Sales Consultant for 2019.

“Over the past year Harcourts has seen tremendous strengthening of our market position, and we have narrowed the gap from being number three in the market toward our goal of being number one across Australia,” said Marcus Williams, CEO Harcourts Group Australia.

The Harcourts NSW offices have collectively seen a significant increase in market share and market value over the previous 12 months to June 2019.

Harcourts Batemans Bay and Harcourts Cabramatta are amongst the Harcourts national network of 400-plus offices that stretches across six states. In New South Wales alone, there are 40 Harcourts offices across metro and regional areas and more planned for the next quarter, according to state franchise development manager Mahan Shishineh.

“We are attracting exceptional people to our business and they are the key to Harcourts’ success,” Mr Shishineh said.
