The REIWA governing Council has re-elected Hayden Groves as the Institute’s President after his term officially ended in September.
REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi offered his congratulations to Mr Groves on his re-election.
“Mr Groves has provided exceptional leadership to the Institute over the last couple of years, and I’m delighted to have him on board for REIWA’s 2018 centenary year,” Mr Pozzi said.
Having served on the Council since 2010, Mr Groves took over the REIWA Presidency from Past President David Airey in October 2015.
“It’s an honour to be re-elected as REIWA President and I thank the Council for entrusting me to represent the members on their behalf. There is still much to accomplish as our local market begins its recovery from the downturn we’ve experienced these past few years,” Mr Groves said.
The annual election also saw Damian Collins from Momentum Wealth and Joe White from JMW Real Estate Dunsborough reappointed as office bearers, with Mr Collins also re-elected as Deputy President for a third year.
“Mr Collins and Mr White have been terrific leaders of our Institute and have provided Mr Groves with exceptional support, so I’m pleased to see them resume their positions on the Council,” Mr Pozzi said.
“The Institute and wider real estate community will benefit from this ongoing leadership continuity as we navigate WA’s challenging marketplace.”
