Homely partners with REIWA to strengthen affordable advertising options

Homely announces new partnership with REIWA in an effort to expand industry-backed and affordable real estate advertising options across the country.

Industry-backed real estate portal Homely.com.au has joined forces with the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) to strengthen access to affordable property advertising for all Australians.

Sharing details of the partnership, Homely’s Head of Industry, David Webb said he was confident that working directly with the industry would help the portal improve its offering to both consumers and agents in Western Australia.

“REIWA has done such an amazing job at building goodwill and capturing a significant following in the WA real estate market,” Mr Webb said.

“We want to help them and their members take their capability to the next level by facilitating their access to buyers and renters on a national scale.”

The new partnership between REIWA and Homely means reiwa.com listings will be uploaded to homely.com.au. Homely’s extensive collection of street and suburb reviews will also feature on reiwa.com listings, allowing REIWA to tap into Homely’s national audience.

“This deal provides massive value to property seekers on both Homely and reiwa.com, who will have access to more listings and data respectively to inform their real estate decisions and enhance their search experience”, Mr Webb said.

“Homely and REIWA strive for the betterment of the industry and are committed to improving online property search for consumers.

“We believe this partnership will play a powerful role in furthering Homely’s mission to deliver an alternative and affordable industry-backed real estate portal.”

He said Homely “like REIWA”, wanted to help agents take back control of the portal space to curb the rising cost of advertising real estate in Australia.

“With REIWA’s support, Homely can work harder and smarter to be a viable player,” he said.

REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi, CEO said the partnership would offer its members another avenue to promote their listings on a national portal.

“The partnership will provide many benefits, including new initiatives that will help members in their day-to-day activities,” Mr Pozzi said.

“The automatic inclusion of REIWA members’ reiwa.com listings on the Homely portal will significantly increase the exposure of their properties for sale and rent to both national and international property seekers.

“The opportunity to take greater control of the real estate portal space has been a key driver for REIWA to enter this partnership, which will provide members with a viable alternative to promote client listings.”
