The gift giving season that is Christmas, the end of the year and New Year is almost upon us and one dilemma real estate agents often find themselves in is wondering what on earth to give as a gift.
Whether you’re giving your team an added bonus for all of their hard work in 2022 or sending a gift to a client, you want it to be meaningful.
You also want it to be useful, timeless and on brand for you and your agency.
Here’s a few ideas to tick all of those boxes.
GiftPay eVoucher
If you’re time poor and want to ensure you give your team member or client ‘exactly’ what they want then a gift voucher is the way to go.
But to what store you wonder? The GiftPay eVouchers are valid at 100-plus brands across Australia and online, including Myer, Airbnb, Bunnings, Freedom, Endota Spa and lots more.
It’s really easy to use:
1) GiftPay has instant bulk delivery. Simply enter the email address of the recipient and the gift value into an excel file, then upload the excel file, whether it’s 20, 100, or even 1000 records. eGifts can be delivered within minutes, which is extremely convenient and organised.
2) Recipients can choose from a huge range of retailers, so you know everyone will be happy.
3) Instant redemption means your team or clients can spend online or just walk into a participating retail store to spend and enjoy their gift.
The eVouchers can also be customised to feature your branding or logo.
You can get the GiftPay eVouchers here.
Gift cards of less than $300 to your staff also qualify for the Australian Tax Office’s minor benefits tax exemption, so the whole amount is tax deductible.

Get cooking!
One innovative idea to come out of AREA-winning agency Key 2 Sale in Mount Gambier is their own cookbook.
Principal Gail Richards said they were putting the finishing touches on the cookbook, which would be popped into gift baskets for clients.
“All of the recipes are those from our team lunches, as well as a few family favourites,” she said.
“It’s something that is useful, that people can keep and not throw out.”
Ms Richards said the agency also liked to give to charity at Christmas and this year had sold live Christmas trees, with more than $1000 going to the local in-home hospice care service.
