Q: It’s almost the end of the year and I am feeling overwhelmed. I don’t know where the year has gone. Help!
A: In a society where consistent connection into the matrix has become the new normal, it can be easy to become overwhelmed.
As we head towards the end of the year, it is wise to shift gears to ensure that we get there relatively unscathed.
In this environment, it is imperative you take a step back and survey the landscape in front of you, reset and plan how to tackle your day, week and month ahead.
This enables you to maintain some semblance of control. As in life, there will be elements outside your control.
We need to control what we can and accept those things we cannot.
If you need a break before the silly season kicks in, take a day or two and find the headspace to switch off and reconnect with real-life humans, outside the virtual world.
Disconnect for a day and block out the white noise to allow rest and recovery so that you can power to the finish line.
