For Jake and Julian Rowe, rejoining Ray White was more than just a career move – it was a return to the culture, support and innovation that has always set the group apart.
After stepping away from the group for a time, the couple rejoined late last year to spearhead Ray White’s new Northern Beaches office in Manly with an even deeper passion for real estate.
The pair say they are grateful for the support they’ve received from their leadership team at the Upper North Shore, corporate and the wider Ray White network.
“I first joined Ray White in 2014, and I am so glad to be back and working together with my husband in such a great environment,” Jake said.
The pair credit their principals David Walker and Charles Caravousanos for fostering a culture that is both inspiring and collaborative, a sentiment echoed by every member of the Upper North Shore team.
Julian has more than two decades of experience in the real estate industry, beginning at the former Ray White Lane Cove and then Northbridge offices.
As a high achieving 21-year-old, he sold some $300 million of property in the Lower North Shore.ย
He went on to become the licensee and principal of the former Ray White office in Northbridge.
He then spent five years in Dubai, selling Palazzo Versace Residences in the D1 Tower, Dubai.
On Julian’s return, he spent seven years at a boutique agency before cementing his new role with the Manly business.ย
He has been friends for more than 20 years with Charles Caravousanos.
“We have such a supportive team, along with Eddy Piddington and his wife Jessica, we are all like family here,โ Julian said.
โWe are so lucky to be given the opportunity to open a business together, from scratch.
โDan White has been fantastic, and so as Brian White too.”
Jake said the support from literally every single person within the group has been incredible.
“We want to especially acknowledge Portia Galloway and Ashley Van Dyke, who have gone well above and beyond to assist us.”
John McManus from Ray White Lower North Shore also extended his mentorship, offering invaluable advice, direction, and resources.
“Spending time with John reinforced everything we love about Ray White-the spirit of generosity and shared success,” Julian said.
Returning to Ray White has reignited the pair’s enthusiasm for real estate.
“After experiencing some truly toxic work environments in other brands, I considered leaving the industry entirely,” Jake said.
“But Ray White doesn’t just provide a job – it offers an environment where people thrive. It’s a place where innovation is constant, training is world-class, and success is shared. It feels like coming home.
“The grass isn’t greener outside of Ray White.
โTrust me, I’ve worked at a lot of agencies. What David and Charles have built isn’t just a workplace; it’s a community. There are no tall poppies here, just a collective drive to be the best.”
For Julian and Jake, Ray White is more than just a real estate brand, it’s a family, a network, and a place where ambition meets opportunity.
And they’re ready to make their mark once again.
Beyond real estate, the Rowes are deeply committed to causes close to their hearts, including Indigenous outreach programs and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research, both of which hold personal significance.
Clinical neurologist and researcher, Professor Dominic Rowe AM is Julian’s brother and Jake’s brother in law hence their support.
Their return to Ray White not only marks a new chapter in their careers but also a renewed opportunity to contribute to their community in meaningful ways.
