Justin Nickerson to auction 2025 House for Life

Award-winning auctioneer Justin Nickerson will take the stage to auction the 2025 House for Life on April 5, with proceeds supporting Mater Little Miracles.

Plantation Homes has announced that Justin Nickerson, founder of Apollo Auctions and one of Queensland’s most respected real estate figures, will auction the 2025 House for Life.

The no reserve auction will see the Mirage 399-D43 go under the hammer at 43 Amulree Street, Tarragindi, with 100 per cent of proceeds supporting Mater Little Miracles – helping care for seriously ill and premature babies at Mater Mothers’ Neonatal Critical Care Unit.

As Australasia’s most awarded auctioneer, Mr Nickerson brings passion, energy and expertise to the auction.

With thousands of successful auctions under his belt, he’s excited to lend his talents to such a meaningful cause.

“It’s an absolute privilege to lend my skills to an initiative as impactful as House for Life,” Mr Nickerson said.

“The no-reserve auction format ensures an open and inclusive opportunity for buyers and I encourage everyone to step forward with confidence to secure this one-of-a-kind family home while supporting an extraordinary cause.

“The 2025 House for Life is a true gem and I’m honoured to be part of this legacy.”

Coronis, the real estate agency proudly supporting the 2025 House for Life auction, is marking its second time of involvement in this impactful initiative with Solomon Michael leading the sales effort.

“To know that this beautiful property will help save lives and support families during their most vulnerable times is deeply humbling, and we are honoured to be part of it again this year,” Mr Michael said.

“What a privilege to have a home which has directly contributed to saving the lives of children and changing the lives of families forever.”

For Andrew Coronis, Chairman of the Coronis Group, this project holds deep personal meaning.

“Behind the Coronis Foundation lies a deeply personal story, one that my wife Anna and I hold close to our hearts,” Mr Coronis said.

“In February 2001, we faced one of life’s most profound challenges when we said goodbye to our beloved son, Peter. Words cannot describe the pain we went through and still do today.

“But the wonderful people at the Mater made a very traumatic time of sadness just that little bit better. That’s why we are doing this – for the babies and their families.”

The 2025 House for Life is set on a generous 607mยฒ block in Tarragindi, featuring a 7-star energy efficiency rating, four spacious bedrooms, multiple light-filled living areas, a head-turning kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a stunning pool, and is fully furnished with stylish, contemporary decor.

“This is our 10th House for Life and it reflects Plantation Homes’ deep commitment to our community,” said Alex Raleigh, General Manager at Plantation Homes.

“House for Life is a collective effort from individuals committed to making a difference. We’re grateful for the invaluable support from our dedicated trades and suppliers, who generously contribute their time and resources to make this charity home a reality.

“We can’t wait to see the incredible impact it will have on Mater Little Miracles.”

Since 2008, the House for Life initiative has raised more than $6.5 million for Mater Foundation, funding vital medical equipment and groundbreaking research to improve outcomes for mothers and babies.
