Not-for-profit disability service provider Northcott will host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea tomorrow and Laing+Simmons Liverpool will be raising a mug in support.
Laing+Simmons Liverpool has taken the lead in organising the morning tea event for Northcott and has also attracted major sponsorships from the likes of Domain and Campaigntrack.
It’s part of a larger commitment to working with Northcott that has seen the not-for-profit organisation’s customers accompany Laing+Simmons Liverpool team members for a glimpse of what a day in the life of a busy real estate agent is like.
“This is hopefully a valuable learning experience for the young people that have joined us, and it has certainly been a valuable experience for us too,” Laing+Simmons Liverpool Sales Manager Rick Mancini says.
“The enthusiasm, willingness to learn and formidable work ethic that these young people have demonstrated has been really inspiring and we feel privileged to continue to work with Northcott in support of the tremendous work they do in the local community,” he says.
As one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit disability service organisations, Northcott is a not-for-profit disability service provider that works with customers to realise their potential.
With the motto “Let’s see what you can do”, Northcott is a registered NDIS provider employing over 2000 staff and providing empowering, personalised services to over 13,500 people with disability, their families and carers each year.
Laing+Simmons Liverpool has already raised several thousand dollars for Northcott with plans to raise much more, but it’s the real life work experience that is perhaps most valuable.
“We want to create strong community ties with everyone in the local area and working with those involved in Northcott’s programs has helped us form new relationships – and friendships – with some truly talented and inspiring young people,” Mr Mancini says.
