Kollosche welcomes leading Sydney agent Kim Jones to the Byron Bay team as they expand their presence on the NSW Northern Rivers and Tweed Coast.
The Announcement:
Leading real estate figure Kim Jones joins Kollosche in a move that’s set to unleash a fresh wave of energy and experience at the top end of Byron Bay’s booming property market.
Kim hails from real estate royalty in Sydney where her late mother Di Jones has been a leading name in the boutique property sector for more than 25 years.
As one of the first women to own and operate her own agency, Di Jones was a respected trailblazer whose innovation and commitment to personalised service saw her dominate the competitive suburbs of Sydney’s east.
“My mum taught me to fish for myself,” says Kim, who marked the three-year anniversary of her mother’s passing on June 23. “After two years I went out on my own and did what we all had to do, door knock and prospect.”
In 2004 Kim returned to Di Jones Real Estate, buying the business from her parents in partnership with leading Sydney realtor Gary Sands before launching a string of agencies in exclusive postcodes including Woollahra, Lower North Shore, Inner West and Southern Highlands.
Having handed over the reins to Di Jones Real Estate, Kim returns to her sales roots under the Kollosche banner from her new home base in the picturesque green hills behind Byron Bay.
“Having run the Sydney real estate race for the past 30 years, Byron Bay was always a place that I would one day love to call home,” says Kim.
“I think COVID has forced us all to rethink our lives. My kids are at a great age to make the move and we’re loving the lifestyle and the strong sense of community here.”
Kim joins Kollosche’s Matthew Skene and Karin Heller in serving clients to sell and buy across the Byron Shire.
Kollosche is the leading prestige property agency on the Gold Coast, with a presence from Sovereign Islands south to the NSW Tweed Coast and Byron Bay.
“We’re thrilled to have Kim on board as we build Kollosche’s presence on the NSW Northern Rivers and Tweed Coast,” says Kollosche Director Michael Kollosche.
“Kim’s enthusiasm, expertise and connections are highly valuable as we collaborate to deliver top service and results for our clients on both sides of the border.”
The move to Byron Bay marks a new chapter for Kim who is back in her element working closely with clients to sell some of the country’s most sought-after real estate.
“I’m back doing what I enjoy and what I do best,” says Kim.
“I love helping people and going that extra mile to make a difference, just as my mother did. I’m excited and energised for this new chapter.”
