LJ Hooker Group has launched its new learning and development platform Lighthouse, powered by Northpass, which also supports the world’s most innovative brands like Uber, Shopify and Compass.
The Announcement:
The LJ Hooker Group today announced its exclusive agreement with US-based Northpass, a leading Learning Management System (LMS), that powers the LJ Hooker Group’s new training platform Lighthouse.
Northpass is globally recognised as a best-in-class LMS and it currently supports the learning and development needs of some of the world’s largest and most successful businesses like Uber, Shopify and the tech-focused US real estate agency, Compass.
The state-of-the-art platform will provide the real estate group’s house of brands – LJ Hooker, Atlas by LJ Hooker and Harveys – in Australia and New Zealand with an array of new, comprehensive coaching and training resources, featuring live streamed and on-demand courses to support its teams’ performance and growth. For the LJ Hooker Group’s business owners, they will be supported in best practice office operations to drive profitability.
LJ Hooker Group Acting CEO and Chief Performance Officer, Christine Mikhael, said that Lighthouse demonstrates the brand’s commitment to the development and growth of its people.
“We’re dedicated to supporting and providing our business owners, agents, property managers and their teams across our networks, with the very best coaching and training resources in the industry so they can continue to grow,” she said.
“This is why we conducted a global search to bring onboard a fit-for-purpose platform that is used by the world’s most innovative brands to give our networks a competitive edge in their learning and development.
“Our exclusive agreement with Northpass means that our people can benefit from the content and the technology no matter the stage of their career.
“Lighthouse has also been developed specifically for mobile devices, so that our people can access the platform anytime from anywhere – empowering them to be in control of their development and growth.”
Other features of the platform include the ability to map and achieve their CPD requirements, earn exclusive certifications, track learning history, and follow learning paths designed for specific industry focuses and roles.
Ms Mikhael said the name Lighthouse was inspired by LJ Hooker’s former headquarters on the corner of Pitt St and Martin Place in Sydney in 1930s and 1940s.
“This building was nicknamed ‘Lighthouse’, because it was here that the team found themselves working late most evenings in the basement of the building, planning what went on to be our rich history in real estate and property development.”
The partnership with Northpass will also enable seamless integration between LJ Hooker Group’s technology platform and applications including its CRM and marketing systems.
Founded in 2013, Northpass empowers its customers to build and deliver impactful online training programs that engage learners and, ultimately, drive business results.
“On behalf of the entire Northpass team, we’re excited for the launch of Lighthouse by the LJ Hooker Group,” said Northpass’ Founder and CEO, Steve Cornwell.
“By making its learning program more accessible, the LJ Hooker Group is enabling its people to unlock all-new areas of growth in their respective businesses.
“We look forward to continued success and helping the LJ Hooker Group continue to innovate upon its learning-powered initiatives in 2022 and beyond.”
