LJ Hooker opens new office in Bondi Beach

Hamish McMaster and Dan Maloney are set to open a new LJ Hooker office in Bondi Beach as the network continues to expand in Sydney’s east.

The Announcement:

An experienced and dynamic real estate team is set to revitalise the Bondi Beach property market with the unveiling of a new LJ Hooker office in the famous seaside suburb.

LJ Hooker Bondi Beach brings together local property experts Hamish McMaster and Dan Maloney who have worked in the area for over a decade.

“What we are offering is a fresh and modern take for our clients, embracing innovative technologies and strategies to enhance their real estate experience, with a grounded and friendly approach,” Mr McMaster said.

“We find a lot of agents in the Eastern Suburbs will sell anywhere from Watson’s Bay to Malabar and across to Darlinghurst.

“We are focused on Bondi Beach and its immediate surrounds and have been for the last 10 years and that has worked very well for us.

“We have our own individual brands in the area and now we want join forces under the LJ Hooker brand.

It is one of the most familiar and trusted brands of real estate in Australia with an established connection to the Bondi marketplace.”

General Manager of Network, Stephen Mutton, said the new LJ Hooker Bondi Beach will continue the network’s expansion in Sydney’s eastern suburb.

“We are proud of our ability to attract quality and successful players such as Hamish and Dan to join our existing LJ Hooker network,” Mr Mutton said.

“We know that with their energy and result skills, they will be able to take the business to the next level.”

The new LJ Hooker Bondi Beach office is located at 14-16 O’Brien St and has been designed to offer customers a welcoming homely vibe.

Both Mr McMaster and Mr Maloney will be selling principals, working together on their campaigns offering their clients another point of difference.

“This is a pretty unique offering where you are getting two experienced selling principals rather than a senior agent and an associate,” Mr Maloney said.

“All of our marketing has honed in local knowledge, expertise, and values.

“People will see us talking to locals in a café on Hall Street or on the promenade along the beach.

“There is an opportunity for us to bring new energy and vitality to this niche market within the Eastern Suburbs marketplace that will set us apart from our competitors.”

The Bondi Beach market has been long associated with backpackers and travellers, but it also has a mixed population with high-end wealth and young families.

It also has a diverse range of dwellings from studio apartments to free-standing homes across a range of price points.

“It is a global population and those who truly know Bondi understand that it is a tight-knit community that is hyper-focused on the community itself, which makes it unique to Sydney,” Mr McMaster said.

“The market in general terms, we’ve seen solid activity and renewed confidence during the first few months of this year with competitive auctions, strong clearance rates and good attendances at open homes – so we expect this to continue.”
