Local Property Team is set to add a third hub to the group after clocking up outstanding results over the past two years.
The group’s stellar success story includes lead agent Ryan Pitts, who sold over $15 million worth of property in one year alone using the Local Property Team business model.
That model currently encompasses a Gold Coast hub, which was formed in September 2020 and a Logan hub, that opened in September, 2021.
Now, they are set to open a third office in the waterfront suburb of Newport in Moreton Bay, north of Brisbane.
Local Property Team Chief Executive Officer Brannan Hill explained the hubs provide full, state-of-the-art office facilities.
“Importantly, they are a place to go to collaborate, to learn and to grow,” he said.
Each hub is informed by the GRIT model, which is an acronym for growth (skills, people, businesses), resilience, innovation and teamwork.
“This model empowers others to find their own strengths and path that is authentic to them,” Mr Hill said.
“Based on notions of neuroplasticity, GRIT enables change and acknowledges that the mind can alter the brain, allowing for endless opportunities.
“These skills are the basis of leadership development and every Local Property Team agent can be a leader if they join.”
Autonomy for agents is one of the key reasons the group has now opened a new hub in Moreton Bay, with Mr Hill noting it would support agents in the area who could benefit from the Local Property Team’s technology, experience, expertise, training and mentorship.
Mr Hill takes on the mentoring role and said Local Property Team’s emphasis on growing sales and career pathways demonstrated their commitment to the professional development of their talent pool.
High-performing agent Mr Pitts started his real estate journey in retail where he gained a diploma in Retail Management and obtained managerial experience.
He had worked as a salesperson and tradesman before attaining his real estate certificate and securing employment with the best real estate in a small town.
After moving to Brisbane, Mr Pitts made 33 sales in one year with a well-known real estate franchise.
In this role, Mr Pitts initiated novel strategies to gain attraction.
He approached Mercedes Benz who collaborated with his brand and made the product special. while also demonstrating further innovation by personally making videos.
However, as Mr Hill explains, the role involved long hours and little support.
There were also hard limits to what could be achieved to develop skills and grow professionally.
Mr Pitts wanted more, and when he met Mr Hill they instantly matched.
Both men agreed that their collaboration would position them ahead of the game.
No longer chained to a desk, Mr Pitts is now working 100 per cent remotely and Mr Hill noted his life/work balance is also 100 per cent.
“Choosing to work for Local Property Team was a natural progression for Ryan as he believed the brand’s innovative approach, professionalism and commitment to the community were second to none,” Mr Hill said.
As Mr Pitts explained: “Local Property Team has everything you need to succeed. Hallie and Brennan are happy to mentor and lend their expertise and wisdom”.
“Their systems are innovative, simple and well ahead of their times; this assists an agent to succeed.”
A top-rated lead agent who prides himself on his ethical and friendly approach, Mr Pitts is number one agent on the search an agent website.
He will now expand his sales territory to service the prestigious Newport location.
For Mr Pitts, Newport is vital as people there need help and support across the board, especially with COVID and people losing their jobs adding to the complexity.
Mr Pitts also rues seeing people missing out of on hundreds of thousands of dollars for their property.
As a market expert, he “sees every opportunity as a life-changing moment shaping clients’ lives”.
One example of this was when he attained a price that was $150,000 for his sellers, enabling the couple to retire early and travel across Australia in a campervan.
Their feedback to Mr Pitts was: “You’ve changed our life”.
Mr Pitts is motivated to help and give back to the community.
He believes, in real estate, the sky’s the limit and always tries his utmost to get the very best price.
He has driven prices and grown the region of Burpengary, which Mr Hill noted demonstrated the fact the Local Property Team model works.
Mr Pitts is now in the process of hiring an associate and assembling his own team.
This transition is supported by Mr Hill.
“Ryan is a wonderful agent and with this new hub and our support we are confident that Ryan will build a strong local team,” Mr Hill said.
