Longstanding Bayswater agency rebrands to join Ray White

The longest-running family real estate agency in Bayswater is proudly rebranding to Ray White Carters.

Principal Daniel Warne said the business had been held by his family since his father Gary Warne became licensee in 1989.

“I’m proud to continue on from Dad, it’s been in the family for around 30 years,” Mr Warne said.

Mr Warne has ambitions to grow Ray White Carters, which includes plans to refocus on property management.

“We’re looking to expand and improve our local presence. My goal is that I won’t be able to walk up and down any street in the area without seeing some sign of us,” he said.

Mr Warne started selling Bayswater properties when he first secured his real estate licence as an 18-year-old. He said Bayswater, six kilometres north-east of Perth’s CBD, is undergoing huge change as the first stop on a proposed rail link to the airport. The multi-million-dollar Bayswater station upgrade is expected to be completed in late 2020, before the opening of the Forrestfield-Airport link.

“It’s a very old suburb with original homes dating back to the 1860s, including quite prominent railway workers’ cottages. It’s an interesting mix of historic homes and brand-new builds,” he said.

“Our community will gain access to more services through the same local experts. That’s the biggest advantage for the property owners of Bayswater – the significant support Ray White will deliver for our family business.”

Ray White WA CEO Mark Whiteman is thrilled to have the Ray White Carters team on board.

“We are proud to have Daniel, Gary and their team join the Ray White Group,” Mr Whiteman said.

“There’s a synergy of family values and tradition, and Bayswater is such a key niche market. I have no doubt they will continue to deliver the great local service which has kept them at the top of their game for three decades.”
