Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin and his fiancee Brenda Song have been named as the mystery buyers of Kiefer Sutherland’s Toluca Lake estate.
According to The Dirt, the 24 actor quietly sold his LA property in an off-market deal for US$8 million with records revealing to the two child stars were the successful buyers.
Tax records reveal the two-storey structure was built in the 1930s and originally designed by famous architect Paul Williams.
Since it was first built the property has been extensively remodelled by interior designer Ryan Brown and includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms in 455sq m of living space.
The estate itself sits on a half-acre of beautifully landscaped grounds protected by high walls and gates, with the beige-hued and wood-panelled structure featuring a large cobblestone motor court and three-car attached garage.
Inside, the house includes formal living and dining rooms, a more casual family room, plus a kitchen with an island bench and breakfast nook.
The primary bedroom overlooks a manicured backyard with a large rectangular pool surrounded by a sundeck and putting green, plus a large terrace for al fresco dining and entertaining with a pergola and fireplace.
Culkin and Song still own their former home, a five-bedroom residence in Studio City.
