Ray White Queensland has announced a major shakeup, with a new CEO replacing Tony Warland, who has been at the helm of the company for 12 years.
Incoming CEO Jason Andrew, an award-winning auctioneer who has successfully led the NSW network for close to four years, is taking over the reins from Mr Warland.
Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said the restructure will position the Queensland group for continued growth.
Mr Warland will remain as a member of the Queensland board with the White family and commence a new role as Queensland North Director.
“Tony will continue to play a key role within the business,” Mr White said.
“We retain his long standing institutional knowledge and relationships, and he will continue to drive for further growth with us by focusing on the important markets from the Sunshine Coast right to the top of Queensland.
“This is an important region for us and this will allow us to provide deeper support to our members.”
Mr Andrew relocated to Sydney from Brisbane late in 2016, taking on the role of CEO of Sydney before becoming the co-CEO of Ray White New South Wales | ACT.
“He has been responsible for creating fantastic momentum for us,”Mr White said, “particularly in Sydney, with a new generation of business leaders now re-shaping our network.
“He has deep relationships throughout Queensland developed over many years after operating his own leading auction and training business and has a strong sense of the drivers of the Queensland agency market.”
Mr Andrew said Mr Warland Tony had positioned Ray White Queensland “remarkably well” during his tenure as CEO of over the past 12 years.
“We are so appreciative of all that he has done for our company and we are incredibly excited to see the impact he will make in his new role,” Mr Andrew noted.
