New LJ Hooker office opens in booming regional Queensland market

Paul Saayman will be joining LJ Hooker after he experienced a very positive customer experience with the brand.

The Announcement:

LJ Hooker has further expanded its network along Queensland’s Capricorn Coast with the opening of LJ Hooker Agnes Water.

Located on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, it has become a hugely popular area for young families, retirees, and investors.

Paul Saayman heads up the new agency, which offers a full suite of real estate services across residential properties, including sales and property management.

Mr Saayman said the decision to join one of Australia’s most trusted real estate brands was also influenced by his own positive customer experience dealing with LJ Hooker while working in both the building and property industries.

“LJ Hooker is a brand that resonates with all buyers because of its outstanding reputation, dedicated services, and expertise – I had also purchased, sold, and rented properties through LJ Hooker and it was always very positive,” Mr Saayman said.

“It is now wonderful to be on the other side as part of the LJ Hooker network assisting customers.

Their satisfaction is very important to me, and our focus will be to deliver the best possible outcome for both vendors and buyers.

LJ Hooker’s innovative systems and an abundance of resources will enable us to provide even greater customer experiences for those looking to move to Agnes Water.”

Agnes Water offers affordable coastal living with a mix of apartments, new housing estates and small acreages.

Situated between Bundaberg and Gladstone, the town offers a quieter lifestyle and is renowned as a ‘fishing mecca’. It is also home to the most northern surfing beach in Queensland.

Surrounding suburbs include Town of 1770, Rosedale, Miriam Vale, Deepwater, Winfield and Baffle Creek.

“The median house price in Agnes Water has increased by more than 20 per cent over the last 12 months to $590,000 demonstrating the demand for real estate in this area,” Mr Saayman said.

“This is a very unique area. It is where the bush and sea combine with a rural atmosphere. It is attracting a lot of people who, like myself, have moved up here from Brisbane to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living. With rental vacancy rates tight, it is also drawing a lot of interest from investors.”

LJ Hooker Group’s Head of Network Performance Stephen Mutton said regional Queensland has become a popular post-pandemic as more people look to move to a coastal lifestyle destination.

“We are thrilled that our national brand will be represented in this exciting growth area. It is certainly the mark of a dynamic real estate network to be able to establish a new office with a talented team in an evolving market,” he said.

Our Agnes Water office is entrusting us to support and guide them on their business growth journey. Our network is backed by a national head office team that provides end-to-end support including marketing, growth strategy, lead generation, and administrative support.

They can also benefit from cutting-edge technology to fuel efficiency and effectiveness such as LJ Hooker’s industry-first Vendor App which allows agents to communicate in real-time with their clients.”
