New owner takes over Ray White Braidwood

Mitchell Smithers has taken the reins of Ray White Braidwood after spending two years as a sales agent in the business.

A born and bred local of nearby Araluen in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, Mr Smithers was thrilled to be taking the next step into business ownership and will continue to offer the same personalised service he has become known for.

“I’ve always been interested in real estate, especially the rural and livestock side of things because of my farming background. So when I was given the chance to join the team a couple of years ago, I knew it was a great opportunity,” Mr Smithers said.

“Ray White allows me to still remain local to my community but also gives me the backing and support of a large, well-known brand.”

Ray White Rural Managing Director Stephen Nell congratulated Mr Smithers on taking this next step into business ownership.

“Mitchell is a well-known and respected local in his community. This step into business ownership is an exciting time and we look forward to supporting him as he continues to grow,” Mr Nell said.

Denver Shoemark, the previous owner of Ray White Braidwood, will remain in the business as a salesperson.

Over the next 12 months the Ray White Braidwood team will focus on strengthening their success in the residential and rural space, as well as continuing to grow their rent roll.

“I’m very proud of the service we offer our local community – from sales in residential and rural, right through to our exceptional property management team,” Mr Smithers said.

“I’m looking forward to growing the team and expanding the business even further.”
