Mega-selling pop-rock veteran Pink is looking to offload her Malibu home despite having owned it for less than a year.
The singer, who owns the property with her motocross-racer-turned-off-road-truck-racer husband Carey Hart, picked up the property last year for US$13.7 million according to The Dirt and now wants to sell the home for a modest profit at US$13.995 million.
Interestingly, the pair tried to flip the property just months after buying it with a hefty US$15 million price tag, however, the listing was quickly pulled, only to reappear this week with a significant price cut.
The iconic Malibu home was once owned by legendary singer Barry Manilow and features five bedrooms, four bathrooms and includes a spacious ocean-facing homeowner’s retreat that’s complete with an ocean-view bathroom and a pair of walk-in closets.Â
The home’s 400sq m living area is divided between a split-level main house and, across a central courtyard atop the two-car garage, a self-contained, ocean-view, one-bedroom and one-bath apartment for guests or staff.
The light and bright living room boast a soaring ceiling and towering walls of floor-to-ceiling windows that slide open to a wraparound terrace and includes a private set of steps that leads down to the beach.
The dining room overlooks the living room, and a wallpapered den leads to a private central courtyard, with its built-in barbecue and spa tub, while the eat-in kitchen is rendered in creams and whites and features a brass-inlaid marble backsplash.
A balcony with glass balustrade offers unobstructed views from the Palos Verde Peninsula to Point Dume.
The famous couple previously owned another home in Malibu, which they sold in 2016 for US$12.5 million and also owned an undeveloped neighbouring parcel of land that they sold a year ago for US$7.5 million.
