Faziya Day and Mouzam Ali have launched Harcourts Elite Group in Underwood, where they plan to create a fun work environment where the team members are able to achieve a work/life balance.
The Announcement:
Powerhouse couple Faziya Day and Mouzam Ali have realised a decade-long dream with the launch of the brand new Harcourts Elite Group on Logan Road, Underwood.
The auction-based office, offering both sales and property management expertise, is composed of a team of 12 well-trained real estate professionals, driven by a united desire to create an exceptional real estate experience for clients.
“It’s been something my husband and I have been wanting to do for many years,” Ms Day said.
“Having a young family comes with its own fair share of commitments, hence why we waited until our three sons were a little older. Our focus is on real estate in Underwood, Kuraby, Rochedale, Eight Mile Plains, Springwood, and surrounds. These are areas which we know, love, and understand intimately.”
Ms Day is already planning to host a variety of community-based events from the new office as she seeks to live out her mantra of, ‘be the change you wish to see in the world’.
“We want to create a fun work environment where our team members are able to achieve a work/life balance,” she said.
“We’ll also be running community events i.e., cooking classes, tenant information nights and buyer/seller seminars.”
Mr Ali’s engineering background may not be an obvious educational training ground for real estate management however his analytical mindset is crucial to the daily operations of Harcourts Elite Group.
“With so many moving parts within the real estate industry, I believe getting the processes right is critical,” Mr Ali said.
“Richard Branson has a saying that I firmly believe in, which is, ‘train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to’.”
Harcourts Elite Group’s property management arm is being guided by Jennifer Crandon, a 10-year industry veteran who arrives at the office with enormous respect and a wealth of recommendations from past clients and principals.
“A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected,” Ms Crandon said.
Few offices offer such a wonderful combination of experience, intelligence and personalised service with the collective talents and leadership of Ms Day, Mr Ali and Ms Crandon providing a refreshing real estate journey from start to finish.
Harcourts Queensland CEO Mitch Peereboom is excited by what’s to come for this innovative and enthusiastic trio.
“We could not be prouder to welcome such an energetic team of real estate professionals to the group”, said Mr Peereboom.
“Faziya and Mouzam’s leadership positions us for bright future in this market and we look forward to supporting their journey every step of the way.”
“They are deeply involved in their local community, with an impressive track record, and their decision to join Harcourts Queensland is the greatest compliment we can receive as an organisation.”
“With a relentless desire to grow, it is no surprise they are off to a flying start. The office space they have brought to life is extremely impressive and a statement of their ambition to build a thriving business.”
