Husband and wife duo opens another Raine & Horne branch in Sydney’s Botany

Two of Raine & Horne long term employees have decided to capitalise on the franchise’s aggressive expansion plans by opening an office of their own in Botany on March 6.

Paul Kosta who had worked for the company for the past 15 years at Raine & Horne Maroubra while his wife Olivia spend 10 years in the property management sector in the same branch.

Kosta was impressed with the company’s technology, branding, marketing, training and culture before deciding to sign up as one of their franchisee.

“Raine & Horne is very supportive, and our Business Support and Development Manager Jennifer O’Brien has been with us every step of the way,” he said.

“The longevity of the firm in the south-east of Sydney was also a significant advantage, along with the fact that Raine & Horne is such a recognisable brand.”

Raine & Horne executive chairman Angus Raine said there were no other real estate brands with a physical office presence in Botany since the couple’s venture in the area in recent days.

“Others have offices in surrounding suburbs such as Mascot and Rosebery, but a shopfront in Botany is a valuable point of difference for Paul, Olivia and Raine & Horne Botany,” Raine said.

“In South Sydney, along with the corridor from Redfern to Botany Bay, you’ll find one of the best surviving blends of urban and light industrial uses in Sydney.

“Suburbs such as Botany, Rosebery, Mascot and Alexandria maintain a healthy economic base of employment activity, which co-exist with old and new residential housing,” he said.
