As part of its continued expansion in Sydney’s South, Raine & Horne has opened a new office at Riverwood.
The new office will be led by Gary Singh, who has recently rebranded his three year business Goldstarr Property Group into the 134- year old real estate franchise for ease of business.
“Raine & Horne is high in the South West, and this was what influenced my decision,” Singh said.
“We estimate that by being able to say we’re from Raine & Horne has improved by 50 percent our chances of potential vendors welcoming us into their homes.
“I used to go to properties for appraisals as Goldstarr and owners would say, ‘We don’t know you. You seem to be new in this industry and our experience that Raine & Horne helps us open doors and gets us appraisal meetings,” Singh added.
Singh who has sold more than 100 properties in the past said suburbs such as Riverwood and Peakhurst have seen a surge in new apartment developments.
Singh said it was still possible for buyers to buy off the plan apartments in Riverwood priced between $700,000- $800,000 and this was increasingly attracting first home buyers armed with a host of government subsidies.
Last year, Raine & Horne opened 28 offices nationwide, making it the fastest growing real estate network in Australia.
Raine & Horne executive chairman Angus Raine said the new Riverwood office will service the sales and property needs of vendors, buyers, investors and tenants living in Peakhurst, and surrounding suburbs as well.
“Gary has taken the decision to switch to Raine & Horne as he has realised that our brand will get him in front of more owners in his patch,” Raine said.
“He’s got excellent local market knowledge, an outstanding sales record and a good team around him and I look forward to working with Gary to help him take his business to the next level,” he added.
