Christmas has come early for a number of charities as Ray White’s Christmas initiative ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ raised thousands of gifts, money and triple-figure food bags across Australia and New Zealand.
Some 320 offices across the Ray White Group signed up to the initiative, with more than 15,000 gifts collected, over $13,750 in food value raised and 175 full bags of food donated.
Ray White Group Director Dan White said he was delighted that for a sixth year in a row so many offices participated and he was proud to have supported a number of charities.
“Ray White is very much a family business and it’s at this time of year where we love to give back to our communities and help in any way we can,” Mr White said.
“We’re really pleased that 320 offices across Australia and New Zealand passionately joined the gift-giving drive and I’m particularly proud of how much we’ve been able to raise across the board for people less fortunate than ourselves.
“I’d like to give a special mention to Ray White Aspley in Brisbane, our leading ‘Little Ray’ office for the year. They alone collected 563 gifts, more than $600 in cash and $3k-$5k in food value.
“Ray White Saratoga on the NSW Central Coast and Ray White Spring Hill in inner city Brisbane also put an exceptional effort into making the community aware of our initiative, and they raised more than 700 gifts between them.
“Ray White Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast also went a step further, being named as the best decorated office, so congratulations to them for their Christmas spirit.
“It’s wonderful so many charities get to benefit from this drive, with Ronald McDonald in New Zealand and Rotary, The Smith Family and The Salvation Army, among many others, in Australia.
“It’s a source of personal pride that our network has come together in such a positive way to raise a substantial number of gifts, money and food bags for people in our communities.”
