Chief Executive Officer of Ray White Victoria and Tasmania, Stephen Dullens congratulated James Wilson and Patrick McConnachie on their expansion to Croydon.
The Announcement:
The powerhouse team behind the Ray White Ferntree Gully office has expanded to Croydon with local real estate expert James Wilson at the helm.
Mr Wilson is a true Croydon local and intimately understands the benefits of the area and the Croydon community.
He has taken over leadership of the existing Ray White Croydon office which has served the local community for nearly 13 years under directors Tamara Lloyd and Elaine Richards.
He is joined by managing director of Ray White Ferntree Gully, Patrick McConnachie, who has led the group’s number one Victorian and Tasmanian office for the past seven years.
Mr Wilson first began in the construction industry, before transitioning seamlessly into real estate sales over 11 years ago, specialising in new build and development properties.
“My experience at Ray White Ferntree Gully has been across a broad variety of properties, from character Dandenong Ranges homes to units and townhouses, to multi-million dollar properties all around the eastern suburbs. And with my background in the construction industry, I have a good knowledge of development and new build homes,” Mr Wilson said.
Ray White Croydon will also benefit from the backing of one of the country’s top offices with Mr Wilson saying there will be all the support and resources available that the Ferntree Gully group of offices offers.
“The Croydon team, who will stay on with the transition, are already specialists in their area with extensive experience. This high-performing team will now also have the backing of multiple offices and some of the best performers in the industry, which we are sure will help provide even better results for our customers,” he said.
“We’re not new to real estate and we come with a lot of experience and passion for the local community and we are excited to move forward with an office that is already a strong force in the current marketplace.”
Outgoing directors Ms Lloyd and Ms Richards are ready for their next challenge and will be staying within the industry as consultants.
“We had certain goals we wanted to achieve with this business and now we’ve achieved them and are looking for a new challenge,” Ms Lloyd said.
“We are looking to do more consulting work, but this won’t be the last the Ray White Group sees of us. We love Ray White and the people and we are going out on a high.
“When we first envisaged a sale, we hoped it would stay in the Ray White network. It was important for us to find a cultural fit and James and Pat definitely fit. It’s made it smoother for our team and clients.
“There is a lot of mutual respect between us and we’ve made sure through this entire transition that we are putting them on the right path to success. They’ve been good to us and we want to make sure we return that and ensure our amazing team can continue to excel.”
Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens congratulated Mr Wilson and Mr McConnachie on their expansion to Croydon.
“We are thrilled to see our top business in the Ray White Victoria and Tasmania network continuing to expand and elevate the next generation of leaders,” Mr Dullens said.
“James has been a strong performer for many years, and Pat one of our strongest leaders across Victoria. Together with the Croydon team, we are sure they will do great things.
“The existing leadership team, Tamara and Elaine have created a strong business at Ray White Croydon and their legacy couldn’t be left in better hands.
“The team at Croydon have performed extremely well over an extended period of time and are well known for providing fantastic service to their clients. We can’t wait to see all that the Croydon business will continue to achieve.
“A very big thank you to Tamara and Elaine for their tremendous contribution to the Ray White Group. We wish them all the very best in the future and look forward to them staying involved with the Ray White family.”
