Ray White Rural and Livestock recently held its annual awards ceremony in Toowoomba, marking 30 years since the network’s inception.
The event, attended by over 240 guests, recognised top-performing offices and individuals across the network.
Network Managing Director Matthew White highlighted the significance of reaching the 30-year milestone, noting the company’s growth from a challenger brand to a market leader in the agricultural real estate sector.
“In 30 years, Ray White Rural has established itself as a market-leading and enduring business,” Mr White said.
Ray White Rural and Livestock CEO Stephen Nell said it was critical to always be adapting to market changes and growing.
“If our industry was not cyclical, then we would not exist,” Mr Nell said.
“What it comes down to, is being able to navigate and steer our clients through each cycle.”
James Brown of Ray White Rural Albury, Ray White Livestock GTSM, and Ray White Wodonga received the prestigious Charlie Maher award.
“It’s a big honour, we all know who Charlie Maher was and what he did for the livestock industry as a whole, especially for the Ray White Group,” Mr Brown said.
“I was looking at the names on that list and there are some big names and very big agents who have paved the way for upcoming agents and other people who strive to achieve this award.
“I never set out to do that, I’m really a little bit speechless and it’s still sinking in that my name is on that board with all those other recipients from years gone by.”
Ray Piper, owner of Ray White Tumut | Gundagai, was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution award and his office also received the Community Contribution award.
Ray White Parkes | Forbes | Condobolin | West Wyalong was named the top office in the Rural network for settled commission and the #1 Rural NSW/ACT Office.
Nick Kelly of the Central West Ray White Rural business was recognized as the Top Salesperson for the Rural network and #1 Rural NSW/ACT Salesperson by settled commission.
Ray White Rural Livestock Tamworth won the Top Livestock Office by settled commission category.
Mark Muldrew of Ray White Emerald was named the Top Principal by settled commission and the #1 Queensland Rural Principal.
In the auction space, Ray White Rural Tamworth took the Competition Creators award in the office category, while Nick Kelly won in the individual category.
The Clients’ Choice Office award saw Ray White Rural Warwick, Ray White Rural Lifestyle Sydney, and Ray White Biloela ranked in the top three.
Scott Simshauser of Ray White Rural Tamworth won the Livestock Marketer of the Year, while Rob Chapman from Ray White Manning Valley was named Property Marketer of the Year.
Jez McNamara from Ray White Rural Queensland won both the Property Campaign of the Year and the Brand Territory Marketing Innovation Award.
The joint Property Managers of the Year were Janelle Weekes from Ray White Rural Mundubbera and Emma Moy of Ray White Rural Tumbarumba.
Ray White Rural Oakey received the Top Property Management – Revenue Growth award, while Ray White Parkes | Forbes | Condobolin | West Wyalong won the Top Property Management – Net Growth prize.
Gabby Neale from Ray White Manning Valley was recognized as Sales Assistant of the Year, and the Ray White Rural Tamworth administration team topped the list for Administration Team of the Year.
Over in New Zealand, more than 1300 people gathered for Ray White New Zealand’s annual awards to celebrate and recognise the top offices and individual achievers from throughout the network.
For the tenth year in a row, the award for Office of the Year went to Ray White Remuera with Ray White Manukau in second place, followed by Ray White Howick.
The award for Number 1 Residential Salesperson went to Ray White Epsom agent Richard Thode.
This year’s CEO Cup was awarded to Laura Knox-Whyte from Ray White Kerikeri who represents Ray White’s values at the highest level.
