Two experienced real estate agents have joined RE/MAX to expand the global brand’s presence in the Sydney market.
Cooper Wang and Sam Girgis are on the RE/MAX U team, a sales agent-focused framework that helps agents transition into business ownership.
RE/MAX Australia Director Josh Davoren said RE/MAX U was a specialised unit within the network that provided mentoring and support for future business owners with a view to preparing them for the next phase of their careers.
“We help to develop their business acumen and business ownership skills early, while they continue to do what they do best – list and sell,” he said.
“Think of RE/MAX U as an incubator for ambitious franchise owners.”
Mr Wang and Mr Girgis each had extensive business and corporate experience before making their respective moves into real estate several years ago.
“Both have ambitions to run their own RE/MAX office,” Mr Davoren said.
“Cooper and Sam also see that there is tremendous scope for growth for the RE/MAX network in Sydney and they’re excited about that opportunity and being part of it.”
Mr Wang, who is of Chinese heritage, will target projects and new developments across Sydney, mostly selling off-the-plan and working with local and international Chinese clients and customers.
Hailing from the Bondi area, the Sydney-born and bred Mr Girgis will operate in the residential sales market with a focus on new-builds in the eastern suburbs and the eastern city fringe.
