Real estate stalwart moves into Pelican Waters

Ray White Queensland Chief Executive Officer Jason Andrew said he was delighted to see someone of Dwight Ferguson’s sales calibre and pedigree move back into business ownership.

The Announcement:

ONE of the country’s most highly regarded real estate professionals, Dwight Ferguson, has made a sea-change to the Sunshine Coast and has now taken ownership of Ray White Pelican Waters.

Mr Ferguson and his family moved to the Sunshine Coast for a lifestyle change in 2020 and they haven’t looked back. The leading real estate professional had been at the helm of the Ray White Ascot business for the last 19 years until he handed the reins of that business to Alexander Shean and Damon Warat earlier this year.

“It’s no secret I love the water, boating and fishing. My family and I have loved our move to Pelican Waters so it’s a natural step for me to move back into business ownership,” Mr Ferguson said.

“I have started building out the new team here. Rebecca Osenton is staying on as a sales agent and she couldn’t be happier about the new team environment.

“It’s a new financial year and a new era for Ray White Pelican Waters.

“I love the tight knit community here, it’s very similar to my old neighbourhood in Brisbane as it’s centred around school and sports.”

Mr Ferguson said the Sunshine Coast was attracting buyers from all over the country for their love of the water, boating, jet skiing and golf.

Pelican Waters is not a thoroughfare like most other developments on the Sunshine Coast, it’s a destination in its own right which brings the residents together to form a close knit community.

Located within close proximity to Brisbane and international and domestic airports, Pelican Waters has its own facilities including shops, schools and child care, aged care, medical centres, and dining. Caloundra is within five minutes drive and Pelican Waters has easy access to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Noosa, Bribie Island, Moreton Island and the Glasshouse Mountains are all close by.

Mr Ferguson said Pelican Waters had long been regarded as the Sunshine Coast’s waterfront lifestyle of choice.

“Here you have a selection of residential home sites, including rare ocean access, and water view land for sale too,” he said.

“Pelican Waters is the closest southern tip of the Sunshine Coast, and you could commute to Brisbane Airport in under an hour. It’s the perfect community, it’s all right there.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said he was delighted to see someone of Dwight Ferguson’s sales calibre and pedigree move back into business ownership.

“Dwight has always had the perfect traits of leadership and integrity. He has an intimate knowledge of the local housing market and has built up a network of connections in and around the Sunshine Coast I can’t wait to see this new iteration of Dwight and of Pelican Waters,” he said.
