A Beverly Park estate, situated in the most exclusive part of Beverly Hills, California, is headed to auction with an asking price of nearly US$80 million.
According to toptenrealestatedeals.com, Villa Firenze first came onto the market in 2018 with a record listing price of US$165 million, when it eventually sold at auction in 2021 for US$51 million.Â
A year later, the 2600sq m home was back on the market for US$120 million, which has now been reduced to US$79.5 million.
At the time, it was the most expensive home to ever go to auction in the US. That record was broken earlier this year when Bel-Air mega-mansion The One sold for US$126 million at a bankruptcy auction.
Villa Firenze sits on a massive 12 acres in one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in the US and houses 13 bedrooms, 17 full bathrooms and eight half baths.
Some of the luxury features include oversized windows, large old world-style fireplaces and surrounds, coffered ceilings and wide-arched walk-throughs. Â
Outside, there’s an exquisitely landscaped motor court surrounded by exotic 12m Canary Island palm trees, a central landscaped fountain, and has parking for up to 30 cars.Â
When you enter the home you’re welcomed by a grand foyer, along with more than 1800sq m of formal entertaining space. Â
The grounds contain a two-storey guest house, a huge pool pavilion with pool house, and a tennis court.
There’s also a jogging/walking trail around the perimeter of the property, grassy lawns, water features, rose gardens and other gardens and multiple verandas for outdoor entertaining assure activities for everyone.
