The Real Estate Institute of Queensland has announced its 2019 Awards for Excellence finalists, representing the best in the Queensland real estate profession.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella congratulated all finalists on their success.
“This year’s Awards attracted a very high calibre of entrants, reflecting the growing focus on professionalism for all REIQ members,” she said. “To be named a finalist is proof that a member has set themselves the task of being the best real estate practitioner they can be and achieved that goal. They are to be applauded,” Ms Mercorella said.
Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards dinner at the Royal International Convention Centre (formerly the RNA Showgrounds) on 16 March 2019.
Ms Mercorella said the calibre of entrants was stellar, and she congratulated all finalists on standing out against a particularly strong field.
“Our members represent the highest standards of the real estate profession and they set the benchmark for success,” Ms Mercorella said.
“Queensland’s real estate market has shown modest growth this year and as a result our members have had to be more efficient, more skilled and more focused than ever before to achieve commercial and professional success,” she said.
“That focus on efficiency has been a common thread through our entrants’ submissions, and we are seeing innovative and entrepreneurial strategies reap big rewards for these small businesses.
“Our judges have been highly impressed with the quality of entrants, and we are looking forward to announcing the winners at our gala event,” Ms Mercorella added.
The 2019 REIQ Auctioneer of the Year result was announced earlier this year. The winner of this category is Gavin Croft and runner-up is Justin Nickerson.
The 2019 REIQ Awards for Excellence winners will be announced at a Gala dinner on 16 March 2019.
