The REIQ is one step closer to finalising its digital transformation with the appointment of its new General Manager, Josh Callaghan.
Mr Callaghan, who was previously the General Manager of financial comparison site Canstar and also co-founder of FinTech Queensland, says he is excited to take on this new challenge of REIQ’s transformation.
“Real estate is dear to all Australians and there is still so much work to do in streamlining the process for consumers and creating greater efficiencies for agents.
“With such a strong heritage, a visionary CEO and supportive Board, the REIQ is uniquely placed to transform the real estate landscape in Queensland,” he said.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said Mr Callaghan’s experience would be invaluable to them as they continued their drive to modernise, engage with consumers and embark upon an aggressive strategy for business and membership growth.
“Josh has a proven record as an innovator and an entrepreneur, and we’re excited to bring someone with these skills to the organisation at such a critical time in our journey. His experience in growing and incubating businesses will directly benefit us as we expand our reach and influence,” Ms Mercorella said.
