Mornington Peninsula local and well-established real estate agent, Bill Branthwaite, has taken the next step in his career, launching Branthwaite Real Estate in partnership with UrbanX.
The decision to make a change often happens at unexpected times, and this was certainly the case for Mr Branthwaite.
When knee surgery and following rehab allowed Mr Branthwaite to slow down and reflect on his 16-year career, he had the revelation that he “could do this under my own name,” and within 12 months he has done exactly that.
Dedicated to fulfilling promises, the new agency has been built on the foundations of honesty and integrity, pairing a traditional hands-on experience with the support of one of Australia’s fastest growing new companies.
When discussing why he chose to partner with UrbanX, Mr Branthwaite highlighted his desire to, and the importance of, pairing his experience with a fresh, youthful perspective.
“UrbanX has youthful freshness and professionalism, and as an older established agent, it’s great to have the support and guidance from so many young dynamos,” Mr Branthwaite said.
“UrbanX thinks of everything and nothing is too much trouble”.
As Mr Branthwaite reflects on his career, he is thankful for the help he has received from previous principals and is now excited about what lies ahead.
He explains how leading his own business gives him, “The freedom to pursue my own goals both in business and professionally and maybe to be a mentor for new emerging talent”.
With 75-plus UrbanX team members behind him and access to class-leading technology, Mr Branthwaite is free from daily admin tasks, allowing him to further establish his reputation of being focused on his clients and building a deep understanding of their needs.
“People don’t necessarily remember everything you say, but they never forget how you made them feel,” he said.
“I am very personable, friendly, helpful and articulate agent with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
“I like finding out what’s important to my clients before offering solutions.
“For me, it’s all part of a lifelong journey that I do not tire from…It’s really exciting now to see how modern technology is improving some of the ways we did things even a decade or so ago and I am even more excited about how our industry may look in the next five to 10 years.
“I love the way technology is changing our role and the flexibility of lifestyle that a successful estate agent can enjoy.”
Destined to succeed with his extensive experience and passion to leave behind his own legacy, we look forward to watching Mr Branthwaite bring a unique blend of traditional practices and modern strategies to the Mornington Peninsula market.
