Ten Sixty, the new global short-form video app for real estate, has officially launched in New York alongside the McPeak team at SERHANT, Holly Parker from Douglas Elliman and Deanna Kory from Corcoran.
The launch at a luxury apartment hosted by the McPeak team, saw 75 leading, high-end agents from across New York attend to celebrate the app, alongside special guest, Dorinda Medley from Real Housewives of New York.
Team lead at SERHANT, Sean McPeak said he was having a lot of fun using the Ten Sixty (1060) app.
“What I really love about Ten Sixty, is that it’s like TikTok meets Instagram but it’s all real estate, I already know about it already.”
SERHANT agent Jamin Jamming said, “I think this app is going to change the real estate dynamic around the world, because we’re all scrolling through TikTok everyday and this is the first TikTok for real estate”.
Holly Parker, from Douglas Elliman, said “One of the reasons I like Ten Sixty is that it is real time”.
“It’s like a dating app for real estate,” she said.
Attendees included the McPeak team at SERHANT, Holly Parker (Douglas Elliman), Deanna Kory (Corcoran) as well as top agents from Sotheby’s, NestSeekers, Compass and Christies.
Australian 1060 founder Matthew Snowden said Ten Sixty was helping to revolutionise the real estate industry.
“What we’re seeing is a new trend globally of agents turning to short form video to promote listings in real time and grow their brand”, he said.
“We’re entering an age now where the agent has become an influencer and a content creator, with the medium being short form video”.
