Real estate industry veteran Stuart Cox has been appointed as the “The Agency’s” latest state sales manager for Western Australia, effective immediately.
In this role, Cox would be tasked to work with The Agency’s Sydney office in implementing unified policies and procedures as well as assume the responsibility for recruiting, managing day-to-day affairs and working on improving the company’s business model.
Before joining “The Agency”, Cox was the former general manager at Harcourts Australia and managing director of the Peard Real Estate.
Ausnet chief Paul Niardone welcomed Cox into the team and believed his appointment would be beneficial for the company in the long run.
“He has a tremendous amount of experience in developing systems, procedures and software to increase productivity in the real estate industry as well as coaching and mentoring at a national level,” he said.
Niardone also thanked the previous WA state sales manager Terry Hardie for his assistance in managing the team over the past twelve months.
“Terry has been instrumental in keeping the motor running while we undertook the listing process, and we thank him very much for all that he has done. I welcome anyone to please give me a call to talk further about our cutting-edge model and opportunities with The Agency going forward.”
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, the company announced that one of its top agents Ben Collier had sold two properties with a combined value at $6 million in Sydney’s eastern suburbs just days after it opened its office in the East Coast on Jan 31.
“The sale of this exclusive property and the listing of two landmark properties in the prestigious Eastern Suburbs is a great result for The Agency so soon after officially launching our operations on the east coast,” Niardone said.
“It shows the high calibre of our sales team and properties that we have listed for sale and I look forward to updating the market with further sales and significant listings going forward,” he said.
