RE/MAX Australia has announced its first quarter high achievers at a virtual event entitled RE/MAX Evolve.
Held on May 19, the event celebrated sales associates, sales teams and offices, who were ranked on performance each quarter in categories of commission generated and number of sales transactions.
For the first time, the most recent event divided the network into 10 regions. Results for January to March 2020 included:

“These awards represent agents through regional markets producing some outstanding results for their customers,” said RE/MAX Australia Franchise Director Joel Davoren.
“Our agents will continue to demonstrate the RE/MAX difference in the second quarter as they deliver the same great service and results, albeit a little differently due to COVID-19.
“The first quarter, and the month of March in particular, produced very strong results for RE/MAX Australia and positive activity continued into April.”
Mr Davoren noted it had been “awe-inspiring” to witness the RE/MAX network adapt and pivot.
“Our owners, agents and property managers have responded to the weekly, or even more frequent, face-to-face virtual meetings, situation updates and timely training along with responsive resources,” he said.
“We had the ability to act quickly and responsively. When this started to break loose, we immediately stopped, took a breath, and asked ‘how can we best help our network with their clients? We are closer to and more connected with our network than ever before because of our actions.
“There was all manner of false information coming out, and it is still very important to choose your information sources carefully and ignore the rest.”
Mr Davoren said not only has his network pulled together but the industry as a whole.
“REIP (Real Estate Industry Partners), all the real estate institutes, all the network heads, have come together. REIQ’s CEO Antonia Mercorella is a fine example of someone who stood up in leadership in the quest for fair rental reforms in relation to COVID-19.
“At RE/MAX, we are proud of how our agents are handling business in a very positive way and still giving clients great outcomes through this second quarter, albeit an unprecedented one!
