High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is moving back to her old neighbourhood, trading up to a US$7.5 million Studio City mansion.
According to Dirt, Hudgens recently sold her Los Feliz home for a tidy profit, before getting nostalgic and returning to the neighbourhood she first lived in when she got her big Hollywood break in 2008.
Her new LA mansion includes five bedrooms and five bathrooms in more than 650sq m of living space with a host of balconies, vast patios, an infinity pool and unobstructed views that sweep over the San Fernando Valley.
The recently remodelled home was built in 1963 and was transformed into a trendy modern farmhouse-style structure with charcoal paint outside and milky white tones inside.
On the main level, there’s an open floorplan that connects the rooms together, while a central staircase with Vegas-style LED track lighting creates an eye-popping effect.
Both the living and family rooms open out to patios and grassy terraces, and outside there’s a barbecue area and ample space for al fresco entertaining.
Upstairs, a second family room connects the various bedrooms while the primary suite is huge and boasts walls of glass, a sitting area, a custom dressing room with bespoke cabinetry, and a spa-style bathroom with dual sinks, glass shower, and a freestanding soaking tub.
Situated on a tiny and private cul-de-sac on 1.27 acres, the entire property is protected by large fences, gates, and a state-of-the-art security system.
There’s also a flat motor court with space for six or more cars, a swimming pool including a Baja shelf for sunbathing and an inset spa with extensive decking for lounging and entertaining.
The property also boasts plenty of grassy lawns and privacy hedges, plus a seating area with a firepit overlooking those panoramic views.
