Three months after joining the Agents’Agency and launching L&M Property Co, Victorian agents Leman Djemal and Michael Abbas have nothing but rave reviews about their experience.
The pair had worked together for five years before taking the leap into their own business and unveiled their own brand in March this year.
It was a decision they didn’t take lightly but was one designed to capitalise on their commitment to positioning the client at the heart of the real estate experience.
“Our aim is to not only be the agency of choice when it comes to selling our clients’ greatest assets but also to build relationships with the whole community,” Michael says.
L&M Property Co services an area including the suburbs of Somerton, Greenvale, Craigieburn, Mickleham, Meadow Heights, Roxburgh Park, Westmeadows and Gladstone Park, and their aim is to be the go-to agency in the region.
Just 100 days after taking the business plunge, Lem says the brand is already gaining traction.
“We’ve had a lot of positive feedback and an incredible amount of support from people,” she says.
“I had seven sales last month alone and haven’t really felt the fact we’ve also opened up a new business.”
Lem attributes that smooth transition to the support provided by the Agents’Agency, which takes care of back-of-house tasks including the business website, marketing, administration, accounting, technology, and training.
“That back-end support gives us the time to list and sell properties while focusing on our clients,” she says.
“It really takes the load off.”
Lem notes a highlight of that support is the training and mentoring available.
“It’s been great,” she reflects.
“The whole Agents’Agency team is incredibly supportive and the training is so informative.”
After successfully launching their brand, Michael and Lem are now focused on cementing their position in the marketplace and expanding their team.
In the coming weeks, a highly experienced property manager will take over the growth of their rent roll, while their new office space is also set to open in Somerton.
“The shopfitting is currently under way and we’re about two weeks away from our grand opening, which is very exciting,” Lem says.
The L&M team will also turn their attention to further marketing and promotion.
“Now we’re set up, we have some great ideas for marketing and prospecting,” Lem says.
“We’re looking forward to working with the community and a lot of people have indicated they’re keen to work with us in the future.”
Asked if the they would do anything differently if they had their chance again, Lem says she’d change nothing.
“I’d certainly do it again,” she reflects.
“The support we get from the Agents’Agency is amazing. I don’t think we could have chosen anything better.”
